Octobre au CALACS : prendre soin de soi, ensemble
En octobre, toute l'équipe du CALACS Longueuil est heureuse d'être encore au rendez-vous avec vous.
Voici ce qu'on vous propose ce mois-ci pour prendre soin de vous :

Les lundis après-midi : nos cafés-rencontres se poursuivent, animés par une femme en rétablissement.

Les mardis après-midi : notre groupe de soutien (groupe fermé).

Les mercredis après-midi : nos ateliers thématiques, un moment pour réfléchir ensemble aux impacts d'une agression.

Le mardi 13 octobre, en soirée : on va voir ensemble le film Pauline Julien au cinéma! Chacune paie son billet, mais comme c'est un mardi, le prix est réduit. Joignez-vous à nous!

Le samedi 17 octobre : cours d'autodéfense. Pas encore inscrite? C'est le temps!
On prépare aussi une belle activité ressourçante pour le 2 novembre : une marche en nature animée par une guide en biodiversité et une intervenante du CALACS, pour prendre soin de soi au contact de la nature. Restez à l'affût!

At CALACS Longueuil, our interventions aim to give survivors back the power over their entire lives and to reduce the impact of sexual assault through a vision "by and for" women.
CALACS' feminist intervention gives women the responsibility and ownership of their journey. As a result, they realize they have the power to protect themselves and make their own choices. We believe that each woman has all the strengths and abilities needed to work together to regain this personal power.
WHAT IS SEXUAL ABUSE
Sexual abuse is the use of physical or psychological forcec to dominate or harm someone. It is an act of domination aimed at subjugating a person's sexuality. Sexual violence can be linked to different forms of oppression such as sexism, racism, and homophobia.
Sexual violence is a broad term that includes any action or attempted action of a sexual nature taken against another person without their consent or respect. This includes sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment and sexual cyber-violence. Everyone has the right to live in a place, public or private, free from sexual violence. Violating this right violates the dignity of others and is prohibited by law in Canada.
