Rally for abortion rights

September 28, 2022

On September 28, we rallied in front of the Library

Jacques-Ferron in Longueuil to mark International Abortion

Rights Day. Access to safe abortion is a fundamental right.

In the case of an unwanted pregnancy following a

sexual assault, women have the right to choose an abortion.

It's important to us that women know they won't be judged

no matter what choice they make, and that they can come to CALACS Longueuil for support during this difficult time.

Mobilization

April 4th 2025

On April 4, 2025, we were deeply moved by the warm and supportive solidarity we received during our mobilization. This action was necessary due to the threat of closure of CALACS Longueuil because of a lack of funding. It is with great pride that the team at CALACS Longueuil, the survivors, our partners, and all those present came together in front of the office of the Minister of Health and Social Services, Lionel Carmant, to make our voices heard and preserve our mission.
